If you’re up for a party, young, beautiful and single, The Hard Rock Hotel is the place for you and you’ll fit right in.
Arrival:
HRH isn’t the biggest hotel in Vegas, with only 670 rooms it has a much more intimate feel to it. You are welcomed by the gigantic Lit electric guitar that dominates the front of the property. Only a short cab ride from the strip (around $7) you are not cut off from the main sights and sounds of Las Vegas,
Rooms:
The rooms at HRH are well furnished, they have a modern feel with clean lines and have views of either the pool area or the strip through French windows, they have all the fancy additions you would expect including 42” plasma screen TV’s and even a bose stereo. Fully stocked mini bars and oversized beds make the stay even more inviting. They are kept well by the staff but the occasional stain on the carpet lets you know that HRH is a hotel to party in. The bathrooms are just as good, freebies such as gilchrist and soames bath products are a really nice touch, with baths big enough for two and expensive looking fittings and plenty of marble, you’ll certainly be impressed.
Casino:
Set in a circle you can see everything going on, the casino here is a tiny 30,000sq ft, but with its club like lighting it has one of the best vibes in Las Vegas. Even though the casino is on the small side it still has plenty of tables, minimums start at $10 for poker and blackjack and the roulette table’s start at $5. With over 600 slots there is almost something for everyone, you can play from a penny to $100.
Cocktails are a good standard and the waitresses are pretty, for the best attention make sure you tip well.
Dining:
You’ll find all the usual Las Vegas fare, from Italian to Japanese to Mexican,
Ago offers Tuscan style cuisine and has a warm atmosphere, with simple, rustic dishes you wont be disappointed. If you fancy a good steak in an elegant setting then AJ’s Steakhouse does exactly what it says on the tin and prices are reasonable. With fresh fish flown in daily from Tokyo, Nobu serves some of the finest Japanese cuisine around. If its cheap and cheerful you are after get yourself down to the Pink Taco, it has a fantastic selection of margaritas and open from11am. For traditional American fare, try Simon Kitchen and Bar.
